Did You Know that there is a movie about ‘Gangster’ Sharks….
….called Shark’s Tale? The movie is a 2004 computer-animated comedy film by DreamWorks and stars the voices of Will Smith, Renée Zellweger, Robert De Niro, Angelina Jolie, Jack Black, Michael Imperioli, and Martin Scorsese.
The movie tells the story of a fish named Oscar (Will Smith) who claims to have killed Frankie (Imperioli), the son of shark mob boss Don Lino (De Niro). Frankie was accidentally killed while on the hunt for Oscar, his would-be prey. Oscar and Frankie’s vegetarian brother Lenny (Black) keep up the facade and team up by using the incident to their advantage in order to improve their own community standing.
Shark Tale opened at number 1 in 2004 when it debuted at the box office. It later went on to gross approximately $367 million worldwide.
